In The Midst of My Troubles

Hello everyone,

Here I am taking a break from work and studying... This week has been a very stressful one for me. Not only is work getting busier by the minute, but I've been getting pressured to get certified by this Friday in the state of New York so that I am able to pick up more cases here as well and not just in Connecticut. To top it off, I've had other things in mind that weren't helping me concentrate better either, which I finally deposited in God's hands after hearing Him speak to me thru my wonderful friend Elizabeth. But regardless of all that, I've been feeling the pressure from work and I gotta say, I feel very tensed and overwhelmed right now. I've asked God for comfort and aliviation and also for some answers... I just wanted to make sure that this is also part of the package when He gave me this job. This morning as I opened up my Bible in search for answers, I realized again how ridiculous I've been this entire week for worrying so much and not trusting God enough to know that there's nothing I should worry about, because some way some how, HE will bring peace in the midst of the storm, just like He always has.
We all face tough times that challenge everything we believe. And we often have the hardest time seeing God's hand when we're in difficult situations - because we just don't understand what He is doing. But the exhilarating thing is that God uses tough times to show us His favor and blessing. It may not feel comfortable at first, but we must seek God's face all the more when we're struggling. When we ask Him, He will give us everything we could possibly ever need to make it through the trying times. And He will give us special eyes to see Him through all of our hardships. Our human understanding will fall short, so we should just give God full control and watch the blessings flow.
My Prayer for Today:  God, give me the eyes to see Your face in the midst of my troubles. Thank You for never leaving me and for giving me what I need to persevere through my roughest days. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
