"Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you!" -Hebrews 13:5

Yesterday I had quite an interesting day (and today too, I guess I can say). As I was arriving from a home visit in Connecticut, I took my exit right off of route 95 South. When I reached the first STOP sign, all of a sudden my car turned off on me and all this smoke just started coming out from the hood. Of course, I panicked, only because I thought it might explode or catch fire with me still inside (yeah, watching too many action films has finally caught up lol). At that moment though, I was just really thankful to God for allowing everything to happen as I had gotten in to New Rochelle; it could have happened while I was still in Connecticut or even worse, while I was still running in the highway!Anyways, I didn't know who to call first to ask for help, so even before I thought of calling the police or my insurance company, I called my dad. Luckily, he was still home, so he was able to come to my rescue and aid me. He poured some anti-freeze in the radiator (or at least I think that's what it's called lol), in hopes that the car would cool down and maybe we could try turning it back on. Well, that did the trick (and of course I'm sure God had something to do with that as well ), and that gave me the sufficient time to make it to the shop. As soon as I got to the mechanic, the car turned off on me again, so again, I thanked God for making the necessary provisions for that circumstance.
I had to cancel my work home visits for today, because the machanic had explained to me that he wouldn't have time to check my car that same day, but that he would probably get to it today. I was a bit nervous about this, being that I just started this new job and I was already gonna have to cancel my sessions. But God is THAT good, REALLY good! My supervisors were very considerate and understanding of my situation... so again, I had more reasons to praise God!
Earlier this afternoon, Julie, my clinical supervisor, picked me up at home to go with her to an evaluation where she would need me to interpret for her. By the time I got home, to my delightful surprise my car was parked out on the street and the work is all done and good to go. I am so thankful to God for watching out for me the way He does.
Everyday I am just more and more convinced and amazed at His incredible power and wisdom. I knew that God would take care of my car situation. I knew He had it all under control and I had nothing to worry about. I just knew that He would once more come thru for me and prove to me how His word is true and how He never breaks a promise. God will never grant you a blessing and then forsake you and leave you all on your own to handle any mess that may arise. In His infinite wisdom, He has already made provisions for the difficult circumstances that haven't even happened yet! I can't stop praising Him for He is good; His love endures forever; His promises are unfailing and His loyalty and faithfulness have definitely exceeded my expectations. Thanks Jesus... these life experiences and circumstances only help to deepen and strengthen my trust and believe in YOU!
