:::My Attorney:::

My Dear Maker,

First I want to thank You for being with me today and for giving me continuous peace and joy.  Please continue to provide me with Your abundance peace and joy, LORD.

I want to ask You for the forgiveness of my sins, Jesus.  I recognize that I am nothing and unworthy of Your grace and mercies, and I constantly make mistakes.  I sin against you and do the things that I don't want to do.  Please, forgive me and empower me to withstand temptation and to be strong enough to always do what's right before Your eyes.  I want to please You, JESUS and make You happy.  Let me be worthy of the work that You are doing in me!

I want to ask that You be with me tomorrow as I meet with the lawyer that I've been able to hire.  Lord, that You may give him Your wisdom so that he may do a remarkable job.  That the great work that You are capable of doing can be done through him.  I beg of you, Lord Jesus... Please!  Use him so that Your name may be glorified.

Make me victorious over this crucible at work.  Manifest Yourself in power and glory and show my enemies that You are GOD and that You take special care of Your little ones.  Show them what You are capable of doing to anyone who intends to hurt any [one] of Your precious children.

Hold my hand tight and let me feel Your presence by my side, LORD.  Don't leave me for one instant--hold me close to You!  I need You, Father.  Don't forsake me.  Please come to my rescue and do these things because of the love You have for Your Son, Jesus.  Send Him personally to be my Advocate on the day that I have that meeting with personnel.  JESUS loves me dearly and I know He'd be more than willing to be my personal Attorney--He longs for it.  And I am eager and would be honored to have Him represent me as well.  I love JESUS deeply and I know that He is the only One who is able to help me out of this situation.  If it weren't so, I would not be asking Him to come and be my Attorney.

Thank You for taking the time to hear my petition.  I will now wait in stillness as I let You be GOD.  May Your Will be done, my loving Father.   In the name of JESUS I ask these things... A M E N

"My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an Advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One." ~1 John 2:1
