Prayer for a Godly husband (video)

Heavenly Father, 


You created me as well as my future husband.  You know my taste better than I do.  I implore Your guidance as I wait for that man  You are especially preparing for me.  I ask that You eliminate the wrong people for me so that I don't waste time and don't have to go through heart breaks.  Mainly, it's because I can't wait to soon meet that special man of GOD!  


I need Your wisdom, LORD.  Show me the qualities that I don't want in a spouse so I'll know when a person isn't for me.  Allow me to clearly discern and recognize these qualities, which I strive for and desire in a husband: 


A man according to the heart of GOD.  One who genuinely loves You, JESUS.  A man who serves You, glorifies Your name and places You above all else in his life (Matthew 6:33).  Give me a husband, LORD who is willing to give up his old life in order to start a new one in love with me. I want a husband who will remain faithful and loyal to me and will never give me any reason to feel worthless nor any reason to distrust him.   I want someone who will love me with all that he is, all that he has, all of his might and do so unconditionally.  Give me a man who protects me physically, emotionally and spiritually.  He must protect me even at the expense of his own well being.  (Ephesians 5:25)

Start Your work in me now, LORD.  Make me a Godly wife--a woman after Your own heart, oh GOD (Proverbs 31).   I want to love my husband with all that I am, all that I have, all of my might and do so unconditionally.  Let me be worthy of Your work! In Your name I pray and ask these things--thank You, JESUS.  Amen!
